At AeroVia, we’re always looking ahead to improve our platform and bring new and exciting features to our users. In this blog post, we’ll share a look at what’s next for the AeroVia platform, from short-term goals to long-term aspirations.

Short-Term Timeline

While things may evolve as we go, here’s a look at the immediate steps on our roadmap:

1. Course Development

The courses will guide learners through aerospace topics in a structured, engaging, and hands-on way. We’re committed to creating high-quality content that builds knowledge progressively, and the first courses will be released this month.

2. Global Expansion

We want to make AeroVia a global platform, making it accessible to users worldwide. This will allow us to gather feedback from diverse regions and continue refining the platform with real-world input. In the future, we would like to translate all our courses into different languages to ensure that they can be used worldwide. For now, we will focus on writing courses in English. We’ll expand to other universities, student teams, and aerospace enthusiasts worldwide. This will allow us to offer global resources like summaries for all university courses from all aerospace university programs around the world!

3. AeroVia Shop

We are working on an online shop to sell aerospace merchandise. This will include items like socks, bags, t-shirts, sweaters and more! We will first focus on the European market and might expand later to different regions around the world. We want to create interesting designs, not boring merch with logos. Keep an eye on shop.aerovia.org !

4. Implementing Payment and Subscription Features

We want to implement a payment system offering users access to premium content and features. We want to keep as much content as possible free but making sure we can pay our bills.

5. Introducing Certificates

Once learners complete a course, we want them to have proof of their achievement. We’ll introduce certificates that can be shared on LinkedIn and other platforms to showcase their newfound aerospace knowledge.

6. Revamp /careers page

We are working on a full revamp of the careers page with more features. We want to make it possible to find a job in aerospace on our platform. We are creating a job listing website for all aerospace companies. This will allow you to find a job/ internship more easily!

Long-Term Ideas for the Project

As exciting as our short-term goals are, our vision for AeroVia doesn’t stop there. Here are some of the bigger, long-term ideas we’re working towards:

1. Hardware Kits: The “Arduino of Aerospace”

We want to create affordable and accessible hardware kits that allow learners to build and experiment with aerospace technologies. Think of it as the “Arduino of aerospace,” where anyone can start building and learning by getting their hands on real-world aerospace components.

2. Enabling Satellite Launches

One of our ultimate goals is to help individuals and student teams launch their small satellites. Inspired by initiatives like Ambasat, we believe this can be done better, making it more accessible, affordable, and hands-on for aspiring space enthusiasts.

3. AeroVia Kids

We aim to ignite young minds with aerospace education designed specifically for children. By transforming complex concepts into engaging, age-appropriate content, we'll help kids explore the wonders of flight and space in a way that sparks curiosity and builds lasting interest in aerospace.

Conclusion

AeroVia is a platform designed for growth, with ambitious goals both in the short and long term. As we expand our features, grow our user base, and refine the platform, we’re committed to providing a space where aerospace is accessible, interactive, and exciting.

Stay tuned as we bring these ideas to life and continue to shape the future of aerospace!
