African Space Agency (AfSA)

The official pan-African agency for space coordination and development. Its mandate is to coordinate space activities across the continent, support national and regional programs, and drive applications in Earth observation, satellite connectivity, astronomy, navigation, and positioning. It aims to play a catalytic role in Africa’s commercial space sector, enabling regulatory frameworks, supporting public-private partnerships, and developing a market for satellite services, data applications, and indigenous innovation.
