Australian Space Agency

The Australian Space Agency is the Australian Government's civil space agency, based in Adelaide and operating as a specialist division of the Department of Industry, Science and Resources. It coordinates domestic civil space activity, supports commercial sector growth, leads international engagement, administers space activities regulation, and promotes space education and workforce pathways. The agency's work includes the Moon to Mars initiative, Australian contributions to Artemis-era exploration, launch and return capability, Earth-observation and communications applications, the Australian Space Discovery Centre, and the Roo-ver lunar rover partnership with NASA and Australian industry.
