Bulgarian Air Force
The Bulgarian Air Force is the aerial warfare branch of Bulgaria's armed forces. Georgi Ivanov served as a Bulgarian military pilot and instructor before his Intercosmos selection, flew Soyuz 33 as Bulgaria's first person in space, and later remained a prominent Bulgarian aerospace figure.
