The China Manned Space Agency (CMSA) manages China's human spaceflight programme. The programme was approved in 1992 and developed through a three-step strategy that led from crewed Shenzhou flights to space-laboratory operations and then the Tiangong space station. CMSA oversees Shenzhou crew missions, Tianzhou cargo flights, astronaut operations, space-station utilization, and cooperation opportunities for experiments and research aboard China's human-spaceflight infrastructure.
