The German Aerospace Center (DLR) is Germany's national centre for aeronautics and space research, and the German Space Agency at DLR implements the Federal Government's space strategy. DLR combines research institutes, facilities, and programme-management work across aeronautics, space, energy, transport, security, and digitalization. Its space work includes Earth observation, planetary research, satellite communications, robotics, launch and mission support, ESA affairs, and German contributions to international exploration and science missions.
