Italian Air Force

The Italian Air Force, Aeronautica Militare, is Italy's air-warfare service and a branch of the Italian Armed Forces. It operates military aviation, training, air-defense, transport, and support capabilities, and it has also supported Italy's human-spaceflight work through pilots and officers assigned to national and commercial spaceflight opportunities.
