UK Space Agency

The UK Space Agency is the United Kingdom’s civil space directorate within the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology. It sets national direction for space, coordinates government policy, strategy, and delivery, drives innovation, and delivers space science programmes with the UK space sector and international partners. On 1 April 2026, it merged with the department’s Space Directorate to form a single organisation.
