United Kingdom Space Agency

The UK Space Agency is the United Kingdom government agency that sets the national direction for civil space activity as part of the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology. It invests in space science, exploration, Earth observation, satellite communications, skills, and commercial growth; represents the UK in international programmes including the European Space Agency; supports the development of domestic launch capability; and works with industry, academia, and public-sector partners to grow the UK space sector.
