World Meteorological Organization (WMO)

The World Meteorological Organization (WMO) is a specialized agency of the United Nations coordinating international cooperation on weather, climate, water, and atmospheric observations. Its Space Programme coordinates the use of meteorological and environmental satellites, satellite data processing and dissemination, frequency coordination, space-weather monitoring, and cooperation with satellite-operating agencies to support weather, climate, water, and environmental services.
