Catherine Coleman
Catherine "Cady" Coleman, born December 14, 1960, is a retired NASA astronaut and veteran of three space missions. She earned a bachelor's degree in chemistry from MIT in 1983 and a doctorate in polymer science and engineering from the University of Massachusetts in 1991. Before being selected as an astronaut in 1992, she worked as a research chemist at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
