Grumman Aircraft Engineering Corporation

Grumman Aircraft Engineering Corporation was the historical Long Island aircraft manufacturer that designed and built U.S. Navy fighters and later the F-14 Tomcat. Its Bethpage engineering and assembly complex and Calverton flight-test facility supported the Tomcat before the company was reorganized as Grumman Corporation and later acquired by Northrop.
