The Ionosphere Institute is Kazakhstan’s space-physics and geospatial research enterprise, established from the Academy of Sciences’ Ionosphere Institute and reorganized in 2024 as a subsidiary enterprise. Its current laboratories and services cover ionospheric and space-weather diagnostics, satellite and geodynamic research, space and geoinformation technologies, emergency space monitoring, space-systems reliability, geomagnetic measurements, aerospace monitoring, remote-sensing radar data, and satellite imaging.
