Martin Marietta Astronautics Group

Martin Marietta Astronautics Group was the Denver-based space systems organization of Martin Marietta Corporation. It built and tested NASA's Magellan Venus spacecraft for the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, drawing on heritage and spare hardware from earlier planetary missions. The group became part of Lockheed Martin's space business after the 1995 Lockheed-Martin Marietta combination.
