Messerschmitt AG

Messerschmitt AG was the German aircraft manufacturer formed from Bayerische Flugzeugwerke in 1938 and centered on the Augsburg-Haunstetten works. It designed and produced the Me 262 and other major aircraft of the period; its wartime production also relied on forced labor, which is part of the company's documented historical context. The company is represented here as the historical manufacturer, not by the later Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm successor.
