Panavia Aircraft GmbH

Panavia Aircraft GmbH is the tri-national German company constituted in 1969 by Germany, Great Britain, and Italy to manage the Tornado multirole combat-aircraft programme. It coordinated the design and development work while prototype and production aircraft were built at the partner companies' facilities in Britain, Germany, and Italy; the company remains the canonical Tornado programme and support organization rather than a substitute for any one national partner.
