The Wright Company

Founded by Wilbur and Orville Wright in 1909, The Wright Company was the first commercial aviation business venture in the United States. Headquartered in New York City with its factory in Dayton, Ohio, it manufactured approximately 120 airplanes across several models, including the Model B and Model C, before merging with the Glenn L. Martin Company in 1916 to form Wright-Martin.
