1940 Air Terminal Museum

The 1940 Air Terminal Museum occupies the original art deco building of Houston municipal airport and the city first purpose-built passenger terminal. It preserves Houston civil-aviation history through the landmark terminal, aircraft and airport artefacts, and interpretation of early airline service. The operator current homepage says the nonprofit has ceased museum operations and is liquidating non-core assets; no public reopening date is posted.
