Aeronauticum – German Airship and Naval Aviation Museum presents the history and technology of airships and German naval and maritime aviation in a museum hall and roughly 36,000 square metres of outdoor grounds. Original aircraft and large exhibits include maritime patrol and naval aircraft, helicopters and transport and combat aircraft, while models, reconstructions, archives and interactive displays explain airship and naval-flight development. The current public visitor contract is daily opening 10:30–17:30 from March through October and 10:30–16:00 from November through February, with scheduled 2026 closure dates published by the museum.
