Aeronauticum

Aeronauticum – German Airship and Naval Aviation Museum at Nordholz presents the history and technology of airships and German naval and maritime aviation in roughly 1,000 square metres of indoor exhibition space and about 36,000 square metres of outdoor grounds. Its exhibits cover airship construction and operations, maritime and naval aviation, and the development of German naval flight through original aircraft and large exhibits, models, reconstructions, archives and interactive displays. The operator lists daily hours of 10:30–17:30 from March through October and 10:30–16:00 from November through February; scheduled 2026 closure is November 28–December 13. Admission is €14 for adults, €8 for children aged 6 and over, €32 for a family ticket, and free for children up to 5; Bundeswehr personnel with service ID and supporters’ association members enter free. Guided tours require advance booking and are limited to 25 people. Parking and public-transport access are available, and the museum provides step-free exhibition access, lifts, an accessible restroom and loan wheelchairs or rollators.
