Aerospace Bristol on historic Filton Airfield tells a century of Bristol aviation and aerospace, from Bristol-built and wartime aircraft through rockets, missiles, satellites and modern engineering. The experience centres on Concorde Alpha Foxtrot, the last Concorde built and flown, with interactive galleries, a Grade II listed First World War hangar, conservation projects including the Bristol Freighter and Bolingbroke, and Hangar 16R’s Rolls-Royce engine collection. The operator currently says the museum generally opens seven days a week from 10:00 to 16:30; private-event, maintenance and staff-training closures can change hours, with listed 2026 closures on September 8, 23 and 25, October 13 and 14, and December 24-26. The site offers free visitor parking, level access, accessible lifts in both hangars and dedicated lifts for boarding Britannia and Concorde, loan wheelchairs by arrangement, free entry for dedicated carers, and welcome for guide and assistance dogs.
