Aichi Museum of Flight

Aichi Museum of Flight is Aichi Prefecture’s public aviation museum at Nagoya Airport in Toyoyama. Its regular experience includes actual aircraft such as the YS-11, precision aircraft models, an Orientation Theater on Aichi’s aerospace industry, flight simulators, the Flying Box virtual-flight experience, a Science Lab, aviation-career activities and a rooftop runway observation deck. The operator’s 19 August 2026 notice says renovation runs from June 2026 through the end of January 2027 (planned); limited partial openings occur only on eligible calendar dates, generally 10:00–17:00 with last admission at 16:30. During partial openings, only the second floor and rooftop are available, and exhibits or programmes may vary. Dates after October are announced progressively, and construction can cause noise, dust or further changes, so check the official site before travel.
