Airbus Broughton is Airbus’s principal United Kingdom wing-manufacturing site and a centre of excellence for wing production, assembly and quality control. The site produces and equips wings for Airbus commercial aircraft before Beluga transports move them to final-assembly lines, and it has recently supported the A350F programme. In January 2026 Airbus brought BelugaST5 to Broughton for conversion into a STEM support facility intended to give schools and community groups access to aviation learning. This is an active industrial campus rather than a walk-in museum; visits and any future STEM access are security-controlled and should be arranged through current Airbus or programme guidance rather than assumed from the site address.
