Alberta Aviation Museum

Alberta Aviation Museum in Edmonton preserves Alberta’s aviation history in historic Hangar 14 at the former City Centre Airport and Blatchford Field. Its collection includes more than 30 historic aircraft, engines, restoration projects, simulators and stories of bush flying, military service, civilian aviation and Edmonton’s role as Canada’s Gateway to the North. Interactive exhibits and education connect regional aviation pioneers and air-transport history with the preserved wartime hangar setting. The museum’s current official visitor page lists summer hours June–August daily 10:00–17:00 and winter hours September–May Tuesday–Friday 10:00–16:00, weekends and holidays 10:00–17:00; it is closed Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. Admission is adults $15, students and seniors 60+ $12, youth 13–17 $10.50, children 6–12 $9.50, under 5 free, and a family pass $37.50 for two adults and up to four children 17 and under. Military rates are $7.50 individual and $18.75 family with a military service card.
