Amachuma Ground Station

Amachuma Ground Station (Estación Terrena de Amachuma) is the Agencia Boliviana Espacial's satellite-control and communications facility in the Amachuma community of El Alto Municipality, La Paz Department. ABE identifies it as Bolivia's first space installation and documents the Amachuma ground station and associated telepuerto in the Túpac Katari-1 operational ground segment. ABE publishes information about capacity-limited guided visits, registration and optional transport from Ciudad Satélite. Confirm current visit dates, registration and transport directly with ABE before travel; the operational site is not open for unscheduled walk-in visits.
