Andøya Space Visitor Center (Spaceship Aurora) is the public visitor venue at Norway’s operational Andøya Space centre near Andenes. The center opened in 2014; exhibitions, films and interactive activities introduce Norwegian space exploration, Northern Lights research and the center’s launch history, with virtual Aurora and Mars experiences, astronaut-training activities, a paper-rocket workshop and an escape room. The operator’s 2026 public schedule lists 11:00–15:00 hours from May 18–June 14, 11:00–17:00 from June 15–August 16, and 11:00–15:00 from August 17–September 27; an exceptional closure is listed for August 24, 2026, due to a private event, and the visitor center is closed from September 28, 2026. Andøya Space has announced that visitor-center operations will be discontinued after the 2026 summer season. The 2026 price page lists entrance tickets at NOK 125 for children ages 2–9, NOK 165 for children ages 10–16, NOK 225 for students or seniors, and NOK 275 for adults; Escape 42 costs NOK 350, or NOK 425 with entrance, for ages 10–16, students, seniors and adults.
