Andøya Spaceport

Andøya Spaceport is an orbital launch facility at Børvågen near Nordmela on the west coast of Andøya, Norway. Opened on 2 November 2023 and licensed to commence operations in August 2024, it supports satellite launches toward polar and sun-synchronous orbits. Its first launch complex, Pad A, is used by Isar Aerospace for Spectrum and includes payload integration and mission-control facilities. This site is separate from Andøya Space’s older sounding-rocket range near Andenes. Launch and test operations impose temporary road closures and safety restrictions.
