Andøya Space Centre
Andøya Space Centre is the sounding-rocket and research facility at Oksebåsen near Andenes on Andøya, Norway. Established in 1962, its rail-based launch pads support atmospheric and space-physics research, technology tests and educational missions. The orbital Andøya Spaceport at Børvågen near Nordmela is a separate physical site farther south on the island.
