ArianeGroup’s Vernon site in Normandy, France, is a cryogenic propulsion test and production facility for space launchers. ArianeGroup says the site designs, integrates and tests cryogenic engines including Vulcain 2.1 and Vinci, houses Europe’s largest liquid-propellant propulsion test centre, and develops and produces the Prometheus reusable engine. An independent mapped industrial footprint is named ArianeGroup Vernon (Zone d’Essais).
