Asiago Astrophysical Observatory

Asiago Astrophysical Observatory is the INAF Observatory of Padova’s observing complex in the Asiago highlands, with research facilities at Cima Ekar including the Copernico 1.82-metre telescope and Schmidt 67/92 telescope. Its public and school outreach includes guided telescope visits, laboratories, talks and educational programmes organized with the University of Padua and the Municipality of Asiago. All public events require advance reservation through the Asiago tourist information office. The Cima Ekar observing station is about 6 km from Asiago; check the official outreach, route and weather information before travel.
