Australia Telescope Compact Array

Australia Telescope Compact Array (ATCA) is CSIRO's six-antenna, 22-metre-dish radio interferometer at Paul Wild Observatory on Gomeroi Country about 25 kilometres west of Narrabri, New South Wales. It operates 24/7 for research. The self-guided visitors centre is open daily, including public holidays, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with free entry; visitors can see the antennas from public areas and use indoor/outdoor exhibits and a small cinema. Switch phones to airplane mode and disable Wi-Fi/Bluetooth, and take care on the access road because kangaroos, sheep, and floodways may affect the drive after rain.
