Austrian Aviation Museum Graz at Thalerhof preserves Austria’s aviation heritage through a collection of gyroplanes, jet aircraft, propellers, gliders, engines, uniforms, models and flight simulators. Founded in 1979, the volunteer-run museum brings visitors close to historic aircraft and interprets Austrian and international aviation technology, including the Saab J 29 Flying Barrel, Saab J 32 Lansen, Saab Draken, PZL TS-11 Iskra and Atlas/Aermacchi MB-326M Impala. Interactive simulator and model-flight exhibits extend the collection beyond the outdoor displays. Consult the operator for current visiting arrangements, programmes and accessibility at the airport-side museum grounds.
