Aviation Museum Kathmandu

Aviation Museum Kathmandu, also presented by its operator as Aviation Museum Nepal, is a visitor destination housed inside a retired Turkish Airlines Airbus A330-300 in Sinamangal, about 800 metres from Tribhuvan International Airport. The preserved aircraft provides the museum itself: visitors can experience the original airliner interior and cockpit while exploring Nepalese aviation history, flight technology, photographs, models and more than 500 artefacts, with cockpit and simulator experiences for visitors. The museum is open daily 10:00–18:00, including national holidays; last entry is 30 minutes before closing. Admission is NPR 500 for Nepali adults, NPR 200 for students, NPR 250 for senior citizens, free for children under five, USD 5 for foreign adults, USD 3 for foreign students, and NPR 150 per school-group student. Walk-ins are welcome, groups of 10 or more should book ahead, and free parking is available for cars and motorcycles.
