Aviation Museum Kathmandu, also presented by its operator as Aviation Museum Nepal, is a unique Kathmandu visitor destination housed inside a retired Turkish Airlines Airbus A330-300 in Sinamangal near Tribhuvan International Airport. The preserved aircraft provides the museum itself: visitors can experience the original airliner interior and cockpit while exploring Nepalese aviation history, flight technology, photographs, models and more than 500 artefacts. The museum’s education mission includes school and group visits and an accessible, hands-on way to connect Nepal’s aviation story with the hardware of a full-size commercial aircraft. Public opening, admission and any aircraft-interior or accessibility arrangements follow the operator’s current visitor guidance.
