Aviation Museum Košice

Aviation Museum Košice is the Slovak Technical Museum's dedicated aviation branch beside Košice Airport. Since 2002, its seven exhibitions spread across about 7,100 square metres and nearly 500 artifacts interpret the development of aviation, aircraft, engines and instruments from the beginnings of flight to the recent past. Displays include early aviation and post-1945 aircraft, a presidential-aircraft gallery, Czechoslovak aviation, aviation meteorology, aircraft structures and engines, and historic vehicles. The museum publishes public hours Tuesday–Friday 09:00–16:00 and Saturday–Sunday 10:00–17:00, with last entry 30 minutes before closing; Mondays are closed.
