Avro Heritage Museum

Avro Heritage Museum is a self-funded charitable aviation museum at former Woodford Aerodrome in Cheshire, preserving the legacy of A V Roe and the aircraft built and tested at Woodford, including the Lancaster, Vulcan, Nimrod and BAe 146. The museum collection and exhibition hall interpret Avro and Woodford production history, and public visits include the unique all-white Vulcan bomber, cockpit experiences, a cafe and accessible facilities. Public opening is Friday-Sunday 10:00-16:00 plus Bank Holiday Mondays; Tuesdays and Thursdays are pre-booked group or school visits, and Monday and Wednesday are closed. Current admission is £9 adult, £7 over-60 concession, £5 child 11-16, £25 family, and free under 11; tickets can be bought online or on arrival. Group tours and cockpit access require advance booking and are subject to the published visitor contract. Free parking includes six disabled spaces.
