The B-29 Doc Hangar, Education & Visitors Center at Wichita Eisenhower National Airport is a 42,000-square-foot public aviation-history and STEM facility built around Doc, one of only two airworthy B-29 Superfortresses still flying. Visitors can see the maintenance center, explore exhibits about the aircraft and its Wichita heritage, and add cockpit access to admission. Regular public hours are Tuesday and Thursday 09:00–14:00 and Saturday 09:00–13:00 when Doc is not on tour; the hangar closes during tours and private events, including the announced August 20–October 12, 2026 tour period. Admission is $10 per person, with cockpit access extra.
