Bibliotheca Alexandrina Planetarium Science Center

Bibliotheca Alexandrina Planetarium Science Center is a public informal-science destination built around the library's distinctive spherical planetarium. Its three permanent visitor components combine fulldome and live astronomy presentations in the Planetarium Theater, the History of Science Museum's interpretation of Pharaonic, Hellenistic, and Arab-Muslim discovery, and the hands-on ALEXploratorium. The center also runs workshops and science programmes for children, schools, and families. Current 2026 visitor information publishes multiple planetarium shows, museum opening hours, guided discovery-zone tours, individual tickets, and advance group reservations.
