Bosscha Observatory is Institut Teknologi Bandung's historic working observatory in Lembang, inaugurated in 1923 and operated under ITB FMIPA. Its public programme is limited and calendar-based: individual and family guided daytime visits are scheduled on selected Saturdays, with two sessions (08:30–10:00 and 10:30–12:00 WIB), a maximum of 60 visitors per session, advance online registration, and a Rp50,000 fee per person (toddlers free). School visits are for groups of up to 80 on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 09:00 or 13:30; other visits require the relevant programme and permission. Tours include the Zeiss telescope building and exhibitions, with solar observing weather-dependent; most facilities are not wheelchair accessible and no food or drink vendors operate inside. Large buses stop at the lower gate, with smaller vehicles or an approximately 800-metre walk required; confirm the current calendar, traffic, weather and access arrangements before travel.
