Bottisham Airfield Museum

Bottisham Airfield Museum preserves the World War II story of RAF Bottisham and the local airfield community near Cambridge. The volunteer charity’s museum and archive occupy the last surviving original airfield buildings, interpreting the Royal Air Force, the United States Eighth Air Force and Belgian Air Force units that served there, together with home-front life and local people. Exhibits and restoration work include wartime photographs, murals, memorabilia, uniforms, vehicles, airfield artefacts and changing displays, with a café and shop on site. It is a seasonal public museum; opening days, events, admission and accessibility arrangements follow the operator’s current visitor guidance.
