B.P. Koirala National Science Museum

B.P. Koirala National Science Museum is Nepal’s first national-level science museum, operated by the Government of Nepal’s B.P. Koirala Memorial Planetarium, Observatory and Science Museum Development Board in Kirtipur. Its learning-by-doing galleries span physics, biology, geology, music, art and space science, with Earth-Moon-Sun and constellation models, a lunar model, telescope and binocular observation, and 3D films on orbital debris, the Space Shuttle, the International Space Station, Hubble and future Mars exploration. Hands-on electricity, optics, robotics, 3D-printing and VR exhibits broaden the visit.
