Brooklands Museum

Brooklands Museum in Weybridge, Surrey preserves the birthplace of British motorsport and aviation on the world’s first purpose-built motor-racing circuit. Its Aircraft Park traces post-war civil aviation from the Viking and Wellington lineage to Concorde, while the immersive Aircraft Factory recreates historic aircraft manufacture around the Loch Ness Wellington bomber with hands-on design and building activities. The Concorde Experience boards G-BBDG, the first British production Concorde and an aircraft central to the programme. Racing cars, motorcycles and the nearby London Bus Museum broaden the transport-heritage story. Summer opening hours are 10:00–17:00 through 1 November; winter hours are 10:00–16:00 from 2 November, excluding event days and school holidays. Current published standard admission varies by season and booking time: peak advance tickets are £25.70 for adults and £10.70 for children 4–17, with higher on-the-day prices; children under 4, members and carers enter free. For eligible standard visits through 1 September 2026, the Great British Summer Savings scheme lists £23 adult and £9.50 child tickets online in advance, or £24 adult and £10 child tickets on the day; standard peak pricing resumes 2 September. Tickets bought in advance help guarantee entry, while tickets remain available on the day; special events and experiences use separate pricing. The museum is cashless, and the main visitor car park is free. Weybridge station is about a 20–30 minute walk or connects by taxi and the 436 bus. The open-air site has bumpy and uneven surfaces; wheelchairs and mobility scooters are welcome, with three of each available to borrow by reserving through Visitor Services at 01932 857381. Aircraft, including Concorde, have steep steps and no step-free boarding. Only registered assistance dogs are allowed.
