Calern Observatory

Calern Observatory is the Plateau de Calern observing site of the Côte d’Azur Observatory, a French public research institution. Its work includes laser ranging, time transfer and space geodesy alongside astronomical observing programmes. The site's Grasse MeO laser system is listed by ILRS as GRSM, station 7845. This record represents the Calern site as one facility, with its map position taken from the individual GRSM station profile; the ILRS overview map shows conflicting coordinates for Grasse.
