Canada Aviation and Space Museum

Canada’s national aviation and space museum in Ottawa is part of Ingenium and displays more than 130 aircraft and artifacts spanning Canadian aviation and space history, including the original Canadarm and a full-scale Alouette-1 satellite engineering model. Ingenium says the museum first opened in 1960. Current visitor information lists daily hours of 09:00–17:00 at 11 Aviation Parkway, open on statutory holidays except December 25; the boutique is open 10:30–17:00. Regular admission is CAD 17.25 for adults, CAD 15 for seniors 60+ and students 25+ with valid ID, CAD 17.25 for young adults 18–24, CAD 12 for youth 3–17, free for children 2 and under, and CAD 43.25 for a family of up to six with no more than two adults. During the Canada Strong Pass period through September 7, 2026, youth 17 and under enter free and young adults 18–24 pay CAD 8.63. Ingenium members enter free, and active Canadian military personnel, veterans, Indigenous peoples and one support leader accompanying a person with a disability receive complimentary admission; admission is also free daily from 16:00–17:00. Parking costs CAD 4 per hour, CAD 9.50 for the daily maximum or CAD 5.75 after 17:00; designated accessible parking and veteran parking are complimentary. The museum is fully accessible and barrier-free. It is located beside Ottawa Rockcliffe Airport and the Ottawa River Pathway; advance ticketing is recommended. The F-16 flight simulator is currently out of order until further notice.
