The Canadian Forces Museum of Aerospace Defence at 22 Wing/Canadian Forces Base North Bay explores Canada’s air-defence history from the First and Second World Wars through the Cold War and modern NORAD operations. Exhibits connect North Bay’s 22 Wing and Underground Complex to the Pinetree, Mid-Canada and DEW Line radar networks, with radar consoles, a jet cockpit, archives, personal encounters and virtual interpretation of the former underground command centre. Regular public hours vary by season: September–June Saturday 12:00–16:00; July–August Tuesday–Friday 12:00–16:00 and Saturday 10:00–16:00.
