Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum

Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum, Canada’s Flying Museum at Hamilton International Airport, preserves and interprets Canadian military-aviation heritage through more than 40 historic aircraft, interactive exhibits and stories spanning the Second World War to the present. Its living collection includes aircraft maintained to fly, so a specific airframe may be away on a flight or at an airshow. The museum is open 09:00–17:00 Wednesday–Sunday and closed Monday and Tuesday; its 2026 page lists Labour Day (September 7) as open and closure from December 24 at noon through January 1, 2027. Admission before tax is $14.25 for adults 18–64, $12.50 for seniors and students 13–17, $9.75 for youth 6–12, and free for children 5 and under and members; prices and special-event rates can change. Groups of 10 or more must book in advance. Main museum areas are wheelchair accessible with loan wheelchairs and accessible restrooms, but the Fly Zone, TG Room, Radio Room and Observation Deck require stairs. Free parking is available.
