Casa Memorială Hermann Oberth

Casa Memorială Hermann Oberth is the Romanian memorial museum in Mediaș housed in the former home of Hermann Oberth, a pioneer of astronautics and liquid-rocket theory. The official Sibiu County visitor page describes three exhibition modules dedicated to Conrad Haas, Hermann Oberth and Romania’s first cosmonaut Dumitru Dorin Prunariu, including astronaut-training equipment, space-shuttle and rocket models, and documentary films about spaceflight. It lists the visitor address as Strada Hermann Oberth 23, Mediaș, and seasonal hours of Monday–Friday 09:00–17:00 and Sunday 09:00–13:00 from 1 April through 31 October; Saturday is closed.
