Cecil Air and Spaceport

Cecil Air and Spaceport is a Jacksonville Aviation Authority-operated commercial spaceport and general aviation airport in Jacksonville, Florida. The FAA lists horizontal launch-site license LSO 09-012, renewed September 15, 2025, with expiration January 10, 2030. Cecil’s current operator site describes dedicated launch and recovery corridors, two rocket test stands, a mission control center, four runways, and rocket motor testing; the FAA spotlight lists a 12,500 x 200 ft runway, 320 acres for spaceport development, 24/7 aircraft rescue and firefighting, and aerospace and industrial infrastructure. Secured areas require approved airport or spaceport badges, and the badging office is currently closed for walk-in appointments; this is not a general walk-in visitor attraction.
