Centro de Operações Espaciais (COPE-P)

Centro de Operações Espaciais Principal (COPE-P) is the Brazilian Air Force's Brasília satellite-operations facility at the SHIS QI 05, Área Especial 12 military site. COPE plans and executes the control and employment of space systems, supervises the secondary COPE-S in Rio de Janeiro, and supports satellite operations and space-situational-awareness services, including the conjunction-analysis capability documented in current Brazilian government material. The named building is inside a controlled military complex; official sources publish institutional contacts and controlled official visits but no routine public visitor route, so contact FAB/COMAE before travel and do not assume walk-in access.
