Centro de Visitantes del Roque de los Muchachos

Centro de Visitantes del Roque de los Muchachos is the public astronomy centre beside La Palma's international observatory. Its basalt-clad building presents three permanent galleries: the Canary Islands' observing conditions, current knowledge of the Universe, and the mountain's natural environment. Multimedia interpretation introduces the IAC and the telescopes operating nearby, while the centre also serves as the recommended preparation and meeting point for guided visits into the working observatory.
