Chico Air Museum

Chico Air Museum at Chico Municipal Airport is a volunteer-operated nonprofit founded in 2004 to preserve North Valley aviation and aerospace history. Its collection houses 19 aircraft and more than a dozen permanent displays, spanning nearly a century from the SPAD XIII and World War I through WWII and Cold War aircraft, the Antonov AN-2, Bell 47, A-7 Corsair, L-29, Grumman Guardian, P2V-7 Neptune, T-33, F-15, F-86, Piasecki H-21 and BT-13, plus classic uniforms, flight logs, NASA/space artifacts and aviation speakers/events. The operator currently offers free admission; visitor hours and special arrangements can change, and extreme heat may close the hangar, so check before travel.
