The China Lake Museum Foundation operates the China Lake Museum in Ridgecrest, California, preserving the history of the U.S. Navy’s premier full-spectrum weapons research, development and test facility in the Upper Mojave Desert. The museum’s collection covers China Lake’s science, armament and technology heritage through U.S. Navy aircraft, weapons, equipment and related displays, and the operator provides virtual tours of its museum locations. The museum is currently open Tuesday–Saturday 10:00–16:00; the gift shop follows the same hours. Admission is $5 for adults 18+, $3 for seniors 65+, children ages 10–17 and veterans, and free for CLMF members and children ages 0–9.
